Overview

Skyphic (the "Developer") operates the Routovie application (iOS / Android, the "App") and this website (routovie.com). This policy explains what information the App and the site handle.

Information handled by the App

The App has no accounts, and the Developer does not collect personal information such as your name or email address. The App handles:

  • GPX files: The contents of files you open (location and time data) are used only to render the video inside the App and are never sent off your device.
  • Exported videos: Saved to your device's photo library. The Developer does not receive them.
  • Purchase status: Whether the watermark removal has been purchased is stored on the device and refreshed from the App Store / Google Play at launch.
  • Settings: Preferences such as language are stored on the device.

Map data requests (data sent to third parties)

To draw the map, the App requests map tiles from the following providers directly from your device. Each request carries the tile coordinates (the approximate area of your route), your device's IP address, and the app name and version (User-Agent). The Developer does not control how these providers handle their logs; please see their policies.

In-app purchase

The watermark removal is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which handle all payment information. The Developer does not receive your name or payment details. Refund requests are handled by the stores.

Permissions the App requests

  • Add to photo library (to save exported videos)
  • File access (the GPX files you choose)

The App does not use location, camera, microphone or contacts permissions, and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Information handled by this website

  • Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics aggregates page views and referrers without cookies and without identifying individuals.
  • Hosting: The site runs on Vercel, which retains access logs (including IP addresses) for a limited period.
  • YouTube embed: The sample video is embedded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com). Pressing play connects to Google, and Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Contact form: Your name, email address and message are used only to respond to your inquiry. Cloudflare Turnstile is used to prevent abuse. Messages are kept for up to two years as a record and then deleted.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your information with third parties except where required by law.

Children's privacy

The App and the site are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with the updated date.
